Deciding to become Catholic was not a difficult decision for me. I was baptized Methodist, but never practiced. I did have a lot of questions and some doubts when I entered RCIA. What do I truly believe? What's right for me? How do I answer these questions? I was uneasy as I began to attend meetings, not sure what to expect, how to act, or what to think.
My fears were soon laid to rest. The RCIA team was wonderful and so patient with us. Coming to meetings and to mass became enjoyable and something I looked forward to. Life began to look a little easier to deal with and I began to feel more peaceful and satisfied with myself.
Becoming Catholic is probably one of the best things I ever did for myself. A piece was missing from my life before I brought God in. He's helping me to fill this part that was missing and with His guidance and love, I'm sure I'll figure out everything else.
Thank you God for bringing me home.
