When I first entered the RCIA program, I did so primarily to be a better religious role model for my children.  My wife is a cradle Catholic and so are our children.  By the end of the program my biggest surprise was how profoundly it had affected my life.  In addition to learning more about Catholicism I developed a much better sense of my own relationship with God.  I pray more.  Prayer is more meaningful to me an I have a much better focal point for understanding mass an the church around us.

Where I initially had thoughts of how challenging it would be to make meetings and other time commitments, I now will miss those cherished moments in class and the frequency of contact with my fellow candidates and elect.  I m truly blessed with the opportunity to become Catholic.
