I was truly apprehensive when I began the RCIA process.  I knew it was what I wanted to do, but having had no religious up-bringing, I had always been "uncomfortable" with religion.  I soon discovered, perhaps by the third or fourth class that it was going to be a far from uncomfortable experience.
Everyone involved was very supportive and encouraging.  The class material was presented in such a way as to make me want to learn more.  I feel the process had helped me to discover the importance of Jesus Christ in my life and how I can emulate Him to become a truly better person.  The process had not only allowed me to fully participate in the religion with my husband and daughter, but to participate in it from the heart.  RCIA has been a truly wonderful experience for me.
